Royal Rio Palace hotel review

During my stay in Rio de Janeiro, I stayed at the wonderful Royal Rio palace hotel

I found this hotel on www.booking.com. There aren’t too many hotels in Rio that have it all pool, location, quality, service, price, but Royal Rio certainly ticked the boxes.

The Royal Rio palace is a large, tall building about 70 meters back from Copacabana beach, the hotel has a a large entrance with receptionists and valets waiting to help you with taxis and open doors fo you etc .

We had a very nice double bedroom which had a large bathroom with a walk in shower, it was on floor 1 of 18. up on the 18th floor was a Wonderfull pool area and bar with plenty of seating snd comfy chairs to chill out. also on the 18th floor is a gym that looks out over the pool, not bas place for a workout

The wifi is good and didn’t cut out

the customer service is brilliant, always willing to help and assist. the reception are really helpful and they speak numerous languages so communication isn't a problem. When I checked in I was even escorted to my room by one of the staff, who insisted on carrying bags for us. as mentioned earlier the valets outside the hotel are always there to help

The food options at the hotel are in the restaurant and food service, both are great and super cheap.

cost per night = £40 pp

may is just out of the high season in Rio, so I got the hot 30 degree weather without the hot prices.

I couldn’t of wished for a more perfect location to stay while I was in Rio

I Highly recommend theRoyal Rio Palace hotel.
